Jacky is a Counseling Psychologist who is committed to providing an accepting environment for emotionally distressed clients so that they can freely express their emotions and share their concerns. He firmly believes that every person seeking help deserves to be heard and understood. He has extensive experience in psychological counseling in emotional and mental health issues, depression, anxiety, stress, interpersonal relationships, child development, self-exploration, behavioral addictions and career counseling.
During the counseling process, he will work with the client to find the root of the current problem from a psychological perspective, explore the influence of the family of origin, the inherent ideas and ways of dealing with people accumulated in the growth experience, so as to enhance self-awareness. At the same time, we explore problem-solving methods together and provide effective, research-based techniques to help them cope with difficulties in their daily lives.
Jacky is not only committed to personal psychological counseling, but also pays attention to the growth of children. He regularly holds study groups in primary and secondary schools to provide support for students with special learning needs, and conducts lectures to parents and students on topics such as parent-child communication and behavioral addictions. In addition, he provides psychological support services to businesses, conducts stress management workshops, conducts crisis management interventions, and conducts individual and group coaching.
Jacky served as a guest speaker at the Education University of Hong Kong, lecturing on the theory and application of psychology. While working at the Gambling Counseling Center, he assisted clients in dealing with the negative effects of gambling problems, including debt problems, emotional distress, interpersonal disputes, family and health problems, etc.
