Kitty has more than 10 years of counseling experience. She has worked in many different counseling organizations and serves a wide range of individuals, including those with mental and emotional health difficulties, teenagers, children, parents, etc. She has accumulated rich experience and knowledge; graduated from the University of Hong Kong She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling from the School of Social Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling and Psychology and Sociology from Hong Kong Shue Yan University, so she already has a certain professional counseling training background. Kitty has training in various techniques including emotion-oriented (individual) therapy, emotion-oriented (couple) therapy, somatosensory trauma therapy, play therapy, attachment reconstruction therapy, etc., and is able to integrate and use them flexibly according to the needs of those receiving counseling.
Kitty believes that people must first feel emotions before they can truly heal their pain and get out of trouble. She is especially good at dealing with emotional difficulties/adaptations, with a person-centered attitude, respecting, understanding, caring for each person’s ideas and feelings. She guides everyone to explore and understand their inner emotions and needs, and see their own unique strengths, values and resources, promoting personal physical and mental growth.
